CHALLENGE

The publication needed to connect Cham heritage with younger and international audiences.
APPROACH
Contemporary editorial layouts meet risograph-inspired illustration and Cham Jawi Arabic calligraphy.
Photography, ornamentation, typography, and archival storytelling were directed as one cohesive system.
OUTCOME
Cultural documentation transformed into an inclusive, emotionally resonant experience.
The project received positive responses from Cham and Muslim communities as well as broader readers, and was presented through a book signing and exhibition in Seattle.
